Invest today only in the options you really need and update the device later if necessary. Various options are available, from copper cable certification to CAT 6A/EA Class cables, a single-mode, multimode optimal fiber level 1 certifier, and a combined fiber and copper certifier. The various options can be extended by a license. For example, if you today install copper and need additional fiber-wired installations in the future, you could upgrade your WireXpert 500 copper certifier to a WireXpert 500 PLUS copper and fiber certifier. However, it is designed to adapt, if you need a certification up to CAT 8 in the future, all models can be upgraded to that frequency range.
