As a producer and exporter of copper commodity, has generated an important contribution to the domestic economy that has allowed them to mitigate the effects of the global economic downturn.
Apart from the particular characteristics of this metal, its evolution, risks and market, which stands out as one of the most relevant markets in the industrialization of developed and developing countries, all projects related to this metal deserve a special mention, since copper does not oxidize, does not degrade, does not pollute and is indefinitely recyclable.
Among the main properties of copper are the following: high electrical conductivity, high degree of thermal conductivity, excellent metal for machining processes (easy to shape and cut), high resistance to corrosion, high metal alloying capacity, very good hot and cold deformation capacity, maintains its properties indefinitely in recycling and has bactericidal properties.
